Style Inspiration: Beth Jones

In the first post of our Style Inspiration series, I had to share the genius that is Beth Jones, of BJones Style. Beth is an absolute master at mixing vintage, thrift, and contemporary styles, and her YouTube channel and Instagram are an endless source of inspiration. Beth blends different styles together in a way that is almost magical, and I love how much fun she has with fashion and style. She posts weekly videos on her YouTube channel (which I always look forward to), and one of my favourite series is "What I Wore", in which she shares a week worth of outfits. So It's 2019...

I've never been big into New Years Resolutions, but I do believe in goal setting, and I think it's very beneficial to make your goals concrete by writing them down. I've been giving a lot of thought to the upcoming year in terms of what I want to accomplish, and I've come up with basically one over arching goal/attitude that can encompass and guide my year. It does feel like in the last few years, there has been more attention to different body...

Slow Fashion Series: Part Four

In Part Four of our Slow Fashion series, we will be highlighting some brands that operate with an ethical model, so that you can choose to spend your hard earned money with companies that are making ethical choices. Again, I am not an advocate of saying that every single item you purchase should be from an ethical brand (although perhaps in a perfect world, that would be ideal), but I firmly believe even if you choose to make one purchase a year from one of these brands (or other similar ones), instead of a Fast Fashion retailer, you will still be making a difference. Every purchase counts. First off, we have Everlane. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably...
